•  "We have two very active Chihuahua puppies, one rabbit, one fish and were heading for a two week vacation.  In the past we left our dogs with the Vet’s office.  This time we sought other options. We didn’t want them to be locked up 23 hours a day in a cage with a bunch of other dogs.  I was very apprehensive about using a pet service while we were away because the thought of a stranger being in the house was a little scary. I did my due-diligence by checking various services and sent out a few inquiries. What really impressed me about Pawsitively Pets Hawaii was Lisa’s quick response to the message I left and her follow-up to my email inquiries answering my numerous questions.  Her business belonged to a National organization and she provided insurance documentation to show that she was insured, which was icing on the cake.   We were nervous about how Nala and Sheeba would react while we were gone. Lisa came over and sat with them for about 30-minutes.  After a warm up period, they seemed to get along fine. Off we went on vacation.  We called Lisa twice while we were away to check up on the girls and things were going great.  Lisa helped us water the plants, pick-up the mail, and clean up after the girls. When we returned home everything we as great as we had hoped. No messes, the mail was in a neat pile and all the plants were still alive.  We are grateful for the wonderful service Lisa provided and have highly recommended her to numerous people.  She doesn’t just get the job done. She gets the job with lots of love and the animals know it! It is the extra mile that she goes to take care of the animals that makes a real difference."

• "I don’t know what we would do without Lisa and Pawsitively Pets Hawaii…… We moved back to Hawaii in January 2008 with our two dogs, Kia (11) and Koa (10) – also known as "the kids". We have been fortunate in that we have always lived close enough to where we work so that one of us could go home during our lunch break and let them out. That would not be the case living in Ewa Beach and working on Hickam Air Force Base. We had no idea what to do. Most of our friends and neighbors keep similar hours so there were no options there and the kids are not accustomed to being locked in the house all day without a potty break.   I was on line and searched "pet sitters in Hawaii" and came across Pawsitively Pets. We scheduled a meeting with Lisa and knew immediately that our search was over. She was so warm, friendly, and knowledgeable about animals - we knew the kids and the house would be in good hands. And Kia and Koa adored her from the minute she walked in the door. Our dogs are getting older so it’s comforting to know that someone is checking on them during the day. Testimony from Kia & Koa Jones:

We were born in New Zealand but moved to Hawaii when we were each 3 months old. We lived in Hawaii until December 2005 when our mom and dad took us to live in Virginia. We didn’t like it there very much so we were really excited when mom told us we were moving back to Hawaii. We’re so happy to be back and we love our new house but mom or dad has always come home at lunch time to let us out and they said they wouldn’t be able to do that now because they work too far away. One night before dad left for Korea we had a visitor…..Miss Lisa from Pawsitively Pets Hawaii. She was so nice! She got in the floor and played with us and gave us treats and listened while we told her our life story. After dad left for Korea, Miss Lisa started coming to play with us every day. We look forward to seeing her, going outside for some fresh air and having a chance to potty during the day. Our mom works full time and sometimes after work she goes paddling or has to run errands so if we had to hold it until she got home every night I think we would bust.

One day after mom went to work we heard a weird noise and we were pretty scared. When Miss Lisa got there she assured us that everything was okay and talked us into going outside. After her visit with us, she walked around the outside of the house and looked around the neighborhood to see if anything was amiss. She e-mailed our mom to tell her about it so mom made sure to come straight home from work to check on us. It turned out that someone changed the ringer on the telephone and we didn’t like the new sound but mom was relieved that Miss Lisa was around to check on us.

We’re so happy that mom and dad found Miss Lisa and Pawsitively Pets Hawaii. We don’t know what we would do without her!!!!
